The union hack teacher that invoked the “H” word to describe a student in the Covington High School incident in DC last year, finally got her golden parachute. Things to consider when you hear schools are underfunded…
Now, we know about the hugely leftward tilt from most teachers in public schools, especially those involved in union leadership.
However, what is most troubling is that the accountability here, especially to we the taxpayer, is practically nil. This woman was on paid leave for 14 weeks, will get a $25,000 “settlement”, and was allowed to voluntarily resign, so this doesn’t go as a mark on her record and will allow her to get hired somewhere else.
This is shameful on so many levels. It also exposes how much power the unions have in our schools. Glad to see 9News and Kyle Clark covering this.
If you don’t know what the “H” word is, it’s “Hitler.” The teacher used it to describe a student she disagreed with politically and called him a “Hitler Youth.” The irony here is that one could make the argument (we are not) that Hitler was more of a totalitarian socialist dictator, which is more aligned with this teacher’s politics. But we’re not going to do this, and we want our readers to draw their own conclusions.
We have to say it again, elections matter!
