Initiative 76: Another Win for Common Sense in Colorado

If you’re here illegally, you should NOT be allowed to vote!

Denver, CO After the 2018 election, Democrats thought that their extreme-far-left agenda was a mandate. So, they decided to wreak havoc on the state of Colorado in the 2019 legislative session, passing every crazy lefty scheme they could. Voters took notice, and now, conservatives are being handed a bunch of wins.

Let’s take a quick look at the record so far for Colorado conservatives after the 2019 legislative session.

So far, the first repeal of a law passed by the legislature in almost 100 years, National Popular Vote, has made the ballot for 2020. Then Proposition CC went down in flames in the 2019 election, because Colorado voters know the government has plenty of their money.

Now, another initiative has the signatures to make the ballot. The citizens behind Initiative 76, which tightens up language to make sure you can “only” vote in elections if you’re a citizen of the United States, turned in over 200,000 signatures yesterday.

Now, this shouldn’t be a partisan issue, because we should only want citizens voting – it’s an election integrity issue. However, the left seems to want anyone to vote, including people here illegally. Lefties are actually trying to undermine the rule of law in this country. Luckily citizens are motivated and want their voices heard.

However, there seems to shockingly [sarcasm] be a collusion between the Mainstream Media and the left colluding on messaging against this initiative. We’ll cover that in a later article today.

We don’t get to report good news very often here at Colorado Citizen Press, so we’re happy to inform our readers of this positive development.

Stay tuned and don’t be swayed by the left on what this means. This is a win, let’s enjoy it.
