Denver, CO – Earlier this month, we wrote about how liberal Denver Mayor Michael Hancock was thumbing his nose at the Trump Administration over immigration enforcement. In fact, Denver taxpayers (and anyone who spends money in Denver) foot the bill for the legal defense of people here illegally. Based on the response we got from that article, we can guess the response to this one.
Denver has denied four subpoenas by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for information on four suspected criminals who are foreign nationals. Yes, that’s right, Denver is protecting criminals who are foreign nationals.
So what are the criminal offenses by these foreign nationals? This is from the Associated Press via Colorado Politics:
One of the men sought by ICE was from Mexico and had been arrested for sexual assault, another for vehicular homicide and a third for child abuse and strangulation assault. The Honduran man arrested on domestic violence charges. All had been removed from the country previously. Three were released from custody and one was still in custody.

ICE does have subpoena power, but Denver is refusing to recognize these subpoenas because they weren’t issued by a judge. Yes, we could talk about Constitutionality issues here, but the real issue is Denver is using taxpayer dollars to help illegal immigrants who appear to be criminals. This is just plain wrong.
In addition, by denying the subpoenas, this will cost even more tax dollars on both the city and federal levels. Now, ICE will have to use a judge. This will waste time, money, and resources. Why protect criminals, especially those who aren’t citizens?
In case you have forgotten, in almost every article the Colorado Citizen Press has written about Denver, try NOT to spend money in Denver. Don’t feed the beast! If you work in Denver, don’t go out to lunch – brown bag it! If you need to shop or dine, you can always find something outside Denver’s city limits.

Denver has turned into an ultra-liberal cesspool, disgusting and tragic, that they keep these illegal immigrant criminals protected.
Significant jurisdiction and sovereignty officially lost in the shuffle from translation to “another system” of authority interpretation pretense plausibly deniable marks vain sophist rhetoric, in my modestly humble opinion, of course, as it were, pending further review, so to say, and so, on and so on, if you will, among other things.
issue an arrest warrant for any one interfering with a legal subpoena issued by a federal agency, hand cuff them and remove them to the ICE facility, and let their lawyers dance around going through the fed process of getting then released, then we will find out how fast a federal judge gets involved, also move that person a few times to add some fun to it. Boycotting spending money in denver is a good start, some thing I have been saying for a decade. It is time to encourage business to move out side of denver to avoid paying all of the business taxes, as well as the tax that is taken from those who work in denver, people have to pay a tax to work in denver , what the …… One more thing to remember is to avoid all of denver’s flag pole conclaves, along south Wadsworth in Jeffco area
