Former State Representative now Denver District Attorney Beth McCann is the latest Democrat caught with the classic do what I say, not what I do hypocrisy.
Her second in command is being “disciplined” for harassment and misconduct. Here’s a quick synopsis before we get to the update on this story that broke right before we were about to publish:
Denver DA’s #2 in command (Ryan Brackley) was harassing other employees both verbally and with a baseball bat (we’re not making this up). You would expect better from someone who is an attorney and should know the law, but it is incredibly interesting because during the expulsion of Former State Representative Steve Lebsock from the State House of Representatives, and other allegations of harassment in the legislature, McCann’s office took a pass on prosecution and investigation.
Clearly, when it comes to Republicans, like accusations against President Trump, harassment is bad. However, when allegations fly against one of their own, Democrats tend to hesitate. That is unless their own tow the party line and think for themselves (Lebsock was known for his independent streak and was generally against gun control). Hence, his ousting from the legislature.
Another interesting thing here is that McCann hired The Employers Council, this is the same group that did the witch hunt…we mean investigations…for the State Legislature. Apparently, these people always find harassment. But for Democrats, it was politically convenient to follow their recommendations in the legislature. It wasn’t politically convenient here…until as the article points out:
McCann’s decision to keep Brackley as her second command generated attention from talk radio hosts, who highlighted the controversy on air as the week progressed.

Ah yes, pressure from the public! #MeToo and harassment in general almost seems like a political tool for the Dems, until it isn’t. We will continue to call them out on their hypocrisy!
