The Denver City Council canceled a contract with a company; this is news. Remember the “protesters” who tore down the American flag at the ICE Detention Facility in Aurora, Colorado and replaced it with a Mexican flag? We were more than angry about that one, and so were our readers judging by the comments.
Then we wrote about how The Denver Post was trying to suppress the use of their photo of a protester sought by police. They sent cease and desist notices to the Aurora Police Department and us here at the Colorado Citizen Press. You would think the Denver Post has better ways to spend their time.
To add insult to injury, Communist Denver City Councilor Candi CdeBaca supported the protesters who ripped down the American flag. Of course, we wrote about that, because we saw it as another sign of disrespect for the flag…Plus…She’s an admitted communist.
Communists being elected to any public position is a problem. We fought a Cold War against these people, and now they’re elected officials. Our country is in trouble, and we need to fight back. These people REALLY hate freedom.
Now, in what we consider a related action, Commie Candi CdeBaca led the charge to cancel a contract with the company that operates Denver’s detention facilities and half-way houses. This is the same company that operates the ICE Detention Facility in Aurora. We don’t think this was a mistake. It was by design.
If you read the article from The Denver Post, it outlines how horrible this will be for the housing of current criminals and released criminals (half-way house inhabitants). There really isn’t another option at this point.
But there’s more! In the article, Commie Candi has a solution for finding more facilities, EMINENT DOMAIN – you know, taking private citizen’s property. We wrote about her vote on the issue last week, so is this an about-face? Probably, but as we opined in that article, we’re pretty sure she had no idea what she was voting on.
CdeBaca also suggested that the city could use eminent domain, a law that allows governments to forcibly purchase property.
Andrew Kenney, The Denver Post, August 5, 2019
Some of you may be thinking, “so what?” or “I don’t like private prisons,” but please bear with us. Commie Candi isn’t that much of an outlier. We’re seeing people like her getting elected to all levels of government. Think of “The Squad,” AOC’s popular band of commies in Congress.
Are we losing our country, and will we stand for this? The answer is no!
