Today, the House Appropriations Committee will be hearing the Red Flag gun confiscation bill, and on third reading, “Ban the Box” legislation that will restrict employers from learning the criminal history of their applicants.
So, if I am an employer, I can no longer check to make sure my applicant is not a wanted MURDERER if this pushes through?? If I happen to be a Daycare or school, I can’t make sure I’m not hiring a PEDOPHILE? If I am a banker I can’t make sure I don’t hire a BANK ROBBER or a known TERRORIST? THIS IS NOT WHAT REFORM MEANS! if we aren’t allowed to protect our BUSINESSES from CRIMINALS, how will we GET THEM OUT OF OUR GOVERNMENT?
Secondly, COMMON SENSE gun law says background checks need to encompass CRIMINAL HISTORY and MENTAL HISTORY. HOW WILL THAT HAPPEN WITH OUR LEGISLATORS BEING MENTAL AND CRIMINAL?
