Today, the House Energy and Environment Committee will be hearing two bills: HB19-1159 which will discriminate against most cars by extending tax credits for only electric vehicles, and a “nanny state bill of the week,” HB19-1143 that will restrict restaurants from distributing straws unless the customer asks.
