You can find today’s calendar here, and take a glance at how your Representatives want to infringe on your life even more.

Today, the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee will be hearing the dangerous National Popular Vote. This bill will forfeit Colorado’s electoral votes to the popular vote winner — potentially stealing the election.

Also in committee, a bill that would require proof of citizenship to register to vote.

  1. Giving up our electoral votes is a violation of Constitutional law. The Electoral College was put in place to guarantee that only a few states did not hold the power to win the Presidential election. By giving up our electoral votes, you are giving in to the masses and mob rule. This is the very thing that led to the fall of the Roman Empire (please study our history). As a former soldier, I took an oath to defend our nation, and more importantly, the Constitution. That oath has no expiration, and I feel it is my duty to speak up when I see the Constitution being tossed to the wayside with such disregard.
