Denver, CO – The Colorado State House and Senate are both adjourning normal operations in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The current resolution calls for a two-week break in regular legislative action.
The shut down will last until at least March 30. It is unclear at this time if it is legal to extend the legislative session past the beginning of May.
The Joint Budget Committee will still meet today in order to work on finalizing the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Long Bill and Budget Package.
