If you are a regular reader of our articles (we highly recommend you become one if you’re not), you may remember all of the personnel issues Denver District Attorney Beth McCann was having in her office. We wrote about it (HERE) and (HERE).
A quick recap: McCann’s two top Deputy District attorneys threatened other employees with violence and generally made sexist and racist remarks. Both were fired (or forced to resign). We pointed out the hypocrisy of the Democrats because although they claim Republicans are the problem, it seems Democrats are actually the problem.
Now with three people being forced to leave McCann’s office, McCann has authorized large settlements to get rid of them. Two of these employees who were fired were McCann’s people. The person who received the largest settlement was the former Democrat Denver DA’s problem. This shows some consistency. Democrats are just plain hypocrites as this issue spans across two administrations.
With these three settlements alone, the Denver DA’s office has cost taxpayers $237,000! More evidence that liberals just shouldn’t be in charge of anything.
So, you may not live in Denver, but you may visit Denver for business, an Avs game, or something else and spend money there. Maybe you’ve received a parking ticket in Denver. If you’ve contributed to Denver’s tax base in any way, this is your money they’re using.
Denver has legalized psychedelic mushrooms and is going to tax businesses and homeowners in perpetuity because of their devotion to the green religion. The liberals are making it so that no one wants to live or go to Denver. This is just sad, very sad.
