POLL: Do you support Initiative #76?

The Secretary of State’s office just approved a new ballot initiative amending the constitution of Colorado to clarify who is qualified to vote in elections.

The initiative’s approval comes as the Trump administration is working to get an accurate count of undocumented immigrants in the United States to ensure the integrity of elections.

Read the ballot initiative language below:

Colo. Const. Art. VII, Section 1. In the constitution of the state of Colorado, amend section 1 of article 7 as follows:

Every citizen ONLY A CITIZEN of the United States who has attained the age of eighteen years, has resided in this state for such time as may be prescribed by law, and has been duly registered as a voter if required by law shall be qualified to vote at all elections.

Officially approved final language for printing of proposed ballot initiative #76

Please take a few seconds to let us know where you stand. Results will be published after the poll ends Thursday morning.

This poll is no longer accepting votes

  1. Only American citizens should vote all others need not apply! There should be very harsh punishment for violating the laws!

  2. Photo ID’s should be required to register and then verified in state and national data bases to verify citizenship prior to getting officially registered. This would make it much harder to falsify a voter registration since many local governments are giving identification cards to immigrants, etc. ID’s, Social Security numbers, etc. are too often stolen and falsely used for other government benefits thus a strong verification system needs to be in place to verify a potential voter’s citizenship.

  3. We need Conservatives to stand guard at the polls to make sure nothing like last time happens ever again
