Planned Parenthood ousts (common sense?) president

We haven’t written anything about the life issue in a while, and this one is just too on point for us to pass up.

Dr. Leana Wen was ousted as President of Planned Parenthood after less than a year. As our friends over at The New York Times report, she was ousted because Planned Parenthood wanted someone more political. Really, Planned Parenthood isn’t political enough?

This is just another example of how extreme the left has become. Planned Parenthood, who is one of the more combatant lefty political organizations in the nation, isn’t political enough – we’re scratching our head here. Jezebel quotes Planned Parenthood on what they really wanted: “the group felt it needed a more aggressive political leader to fight the efforts to roll back access to abortions.”

Don’t forget; Planned Parenthood is very politically active in Colorado. We wrote about how Colorado Secretary of State (and maybe future US Senate candidate) Jena Griswold was Planned Parenthood’s puppet when it came to their boycott stunts.

Conservatives in the past year had some wins, in Alabama and other places. But this wasn’t because Planned Parenthood wasn’t political enough. We think the left is just simply out for blood, and only wants leaders that share in that vision.

Dr. Wen was trying to rebrand Planned Parenthood as a health organization. Now we know that’s a lie because they are arguably the largest abortion provider out there. However, convincing the public that they’re about healthcare vs. terminating the unborn wasn’t a bad strategy.

Wen was the perfect foil for this strategy. We’re not going to post her qualifications here, but Wen was very accomplished in the medical field. You can check her out on Wikipedia here. She had credibility as a medical professional to promote Planned Parenthood’s lie about being a health provider. Wen succeeded Cecile Richards, who The Hill called “a powerhouse Democratic operative,” so clearly their experiment of trying to appear reasonable didn’t work with the faithful.

Another interesting but not surprising thing, and we’ll bring it up because others have, is that she was the first Planned Parenthood President of Asian descent. The left likes to play identity politics to call the right racists, but as we’ve written about this before with:

But we digress, so back on point – guess who Planned Parenthood appointed (temporarily) to succeed Wen? Alexis McGill Johnson, a “renowned social justice leader, lifelong political organizer,” who was head of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America – you know the political and fundraising wing of Planned Parenthood.

Yes, McGill Johnson is African-American, but it does seem to us that identity politics do not extend to all races equally.

The battle continues to save the unborn. We opine here, but as adults, it’s one of our primary responsibilities to protect children – ALL CHILDREN, especially those that are defenseless in the womb.

  1. Just additional weaponry in the battle to outlaw abortion:

An ultrasound of an abortion shows the Fetus trying to escape the forceps.

    That indicates two things.
    1: The Fetus feels PAIN.

    2:The Fetus KNOWS FEAR.

The mother experiences neither. They are TWO SEPARATE ENTITIES, TWO different People.
    One Born, the other unborn.

EVERY legislation hearing should have a COURT ORDERED SHOWING of an Ultrasound of an actual abortion to get “hyperbole” out of the conversation and allow FACTS IN!

  2. Refreshing to see that not all the news is bias, at least someone is trying to tell it straight. Thank you
