Joe Biden condemns prayers for Kendrick Castillo, STEM victims

In an unsurprising, but high profile condemnation of prayers for STEM shooting victims and their fallen classmate and hero Kendrick Castillo, Presidential hopeful Joe Biden displays true contempt for Christians.

Now, Biden claims to be a Christian, but condemning the offering of prayers when they are most necessary is an abomination.

See Biden’s quote, pulled from a RedState article titled: “Joe Biden Joins The Goofy Brigade: In Lieu Of More Gun Control For Colorado, He Calls The Offering Of Prayers ‘Outrageous’.”

“[I]t’s outrageous — it’s outrageous that we still only talk about offering prayers. Look, I don’t know enough detail to know — maybe you guys do — about whether or not, what kind of weapon was used, what the background checks were of the detail. But the idea the we don’t have universal background checks, the idea that we don’t outlaw a number of the weapons that I was able to get outlawed in the crime bill, from large magazines and assault weapons, this is crazy. By the way, it has no — it doesn’t impact on the First, the Second Amendment at all.

Biden continued on with even more radical gun control ideas, but that is not the point.

Condemnation of Christianity

The fact of the matter is, Democrats are (attempting) to normalize the condemnation of Christianity. Colorado’s very own political operative Ian Silverii viciously denounced prayers for STEM victims in an unhinged Twitter rant (do you see the irony?) even before Coloradans knew the full story of the tragedy.

That was just the beginning. Shortly after, Democratic candidate for US Senate Mike Johnston went so far as to claim, if you do not agree with him in his call for gun control, you have no right to thank first responders, teachers, or student heroes.

These are heroes who acted instinctively and selflessly, and who deserve the thoughts, prayers, and remembrance of everyone who hears their stories.

The real outrage should be over disgraceful former Vice President Joe Biden’s insensitive remarks towards prayer and his politicization of this tragedy. The man even admits he does not know enough details to be any kind of authority on the matter.

We digress here but let us also remind you, the undermining of institutions of faith is a core goal in the advancement of socialist and communist principles. We must never allow it to happen in America.

So pray, and pray often. Appealing to God on behalf of others is something we should always do.

  1. So, Mr. Biden, is this rant to assage your guilt over the “Gun Free School Zone” law you sponsored, which kicked off all these school shootings?
