Recalls have officially started

As reported by Colorado Peak Politics, 2019 Colorado recalls have started.

After a slew of radical bills that have made their way through the legislature and still trickling in, citizens have run out of patience.

Mostly stemmed from the dangerous National Popular Vote bill, new oil and gas regulations, sanctuary city policies, and Red Flag gun confiscation still coming through the legislature, conservatives have been up in arms and have started to assemble.

The first targets are state Sen. Jeff Bridges of Greenwood Village and Rep. Meg Froelich of Englewood.

Rep. Meg Froelich’s constituents

This is the first two of many rumored recalls throughout the state.

Several coalitions have popped up across the state to work on recalls, and even a website has popped up where people can sign up and get involved.

All this comes after House Republican Leader Patrick Neville hinted on multiple occasions that they would potentially support recalls. What that support looks like still remains to be seen.

Things are starting to ramp up, and will surely get exciting.

Stay tuned.

        1. that website doesn’t work. Is there some place else to sign up to help move the recalls closer to reality? These people do NOT represent ALL of Colorado –they need to go. Start with the embarrassment of a GOVENOR and go from there

    1. Well said. As a sixth generation Coloradoan and having seen the best and now the very worst of Colorado’s politics for over 3/4 of a century. These non-natives need to go.

      1. Only been here 5 years, but we came here to escape the political BS of the east. Not sorry we came, but maybe should have considered Wyoming or Utah.

        1. Utah is no better my friend. I lived in Colorado for 10 years and left it to escape the liberal BS. It’s literally everywhere. Even in pockets of Wyoming. It’s what happens when people get too spoiled and get the gimme’s instead of appreciating what they have. Few today understand what it’s like to have NOTHING. Very coddled and unappreciative of how blessed we are in this country. But with freedom comes responsibility and today’s average millennial would sacrifice freedom for freedom from responsibility.

          1. Thats only half the truth. The other half is that most ppl dont care what goes on in government until its too late. Liberals care because its their agendas they are trying to pass. But the average joe doesnt care until it affects him. We need to get the everyday person to take notice so we can stop these things before they become a problem.

      2. He’s right. Personally, I moved here through the military but assimilated to the political climate of El Paso County. Don’t bring your out of state politics with you, people. Keep Colorado, “Colorado”!

      3. I agree as a native Coloradan (fourth gen) I have seen the quality of state slide downhill. If you escaped a state because of high taxes and crippling regulations leave that thinking there.

    1. How darn they try to simply “step in” & change WHATEVER they want….I say START with recall of the Gov.

      1. I agree!! Start with the governor and work down! Even Hickenlooper warned the radical Democrats to watch what they were about to do. The Dems,s didn’t listen and it’s time to get them and their radical agenda out of office!!

    2. Yes, in particular that worthless Californian, who couldn’t even campaign under his real name. Plus didn’t even suggest he might be a homosexual. If you are proud to be a homosexual admit it, be the person you are, not who you want people to believe you are.

  1. Great news. Please recall them before they turn Colorado into a failed cesspool of a state like California.

    1. AMEN! MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY! I’M SO ASHAMED OF COLORADO FOR BEING SO DAMNED STUPID AND ALLOWING SUCH IGNORANCE TO TAKE PLACE! AND WHAT’S MORE WE NEED TO RETAIN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE! IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH WHEN OBAMA WAS ELECTED!

  2. Patrick Neville needs to move beyond hints of potential recalls. We’re here because Republicans left the door open

    1. Regardless of why “your here” you need to stop attacking Colorado aand subverting the Constitution which you swore to uphold!!!

      1. these people need to come to understand they work for US and are to represent US NOT their own agendas. So many of these bills will turn CO into CA2. It makes me sick to think my state ( I am 5th generation native CO with the 6th and 7th generations paying close attention ) is becoming so liberal and people are ok with it. I live in rural CO – I have common sense , I have to work for everything I have and I appreciate what I have because I earned it! Now these Democrats are attacking one of the top industries in the state which will cripple our economy –WE MUST STOP THEM

    2. Well Laura if you are one of them. Say Bye, Bye!! We are coming to oust you. And Colorado has done it before. In the last 10 years I believe, so get ready. Your party has basically told over half the citizens in this state, you have every intention to do as you please regardless of rather we like it or not. Read The Colorado Constitution. You work for us. Not us for you.

  3. These are radical and unconstitutional bills being brought forth without the support of all of the citizens, and counties of Colorado.

  4. These are radical and unconstitutional bills being brought forth without the support of all of the citizens, and counties of Colorado.

  5. What a mess so many voted for the Democrats! They are the party of destruction. Next they will say they want full term babies to die! Our state was first to sign on PP. evil to the core. We better fight as CO is trying to make us like CA!

    1. I agree, what happened to our wonderful state! Hickenlooper, that’s what happened along with transplant libs!

  6. I will support any and all recalls of this Congress and the Governor.
They believe that they are more intelligent than the people of Colorado who elected them, and have to make decisions for us.

  7. A recall is needed big time. So glad this is happening. Sick of the way Colorado is headed. Need to get back to what is right for all and not just a few.

  8. Count me in. I wanna give the governor the boot for his assault against me and the rest of rural Colorado just because he despises us, our way of life, and our beliefs.

    1. He said he wanted to make us like California! Well if I wanted to live in California I’d be there NOT here! But who will take his place?

  9. I strongly support the recalls. Time to take the state back to being prosperous. Start with governor.

  10. It’s about time.. polis is not Colorado friendly at all he is a special interest groups puppet

  11. Amen! To all of you! I’ve been warning about this since the invasion of the 90s by Californians , after running their state in the ground???

  12. I am respectful to the fact that these people are in office because they won their respective elections. However, they are elected to uphold constitutional laws and not find ways to “sneak” around them. With what is happening with Oil & Gas, 2A rights being chipped away and overall abuse of power, they must be held accountable and taken out of office. Elections do have consequences, but those consequences should not be created after the people of this state voted down legislation that those elected are now shoving down our throat. Recall, Recall, RECALL!

    1. totally agree! RECALL each and every one of them that are trying to sneak /rush into law things that the majority of CO is against!!

  13. Recall them “ALL on the left ~Yes “Drain this corrupt Poisenous Indecent antiAmerican Swamp Forever~ Colorful Colorado “Purity Resurrected Again is “Our Prayer!

  14. Moved to East Texas 16 months ago and we are proud of our new State. Very disappointed in Colorado and could not stay to help. Born in Denver wife born in Ft. Collins.

  15. Recall NOW.
Start at the top. Petition to recall Jared Polis, and force a Gubernatorial election.
    This question needs to addressed:
“Will Walker Stapleton stand with us?” – If not, we must find a candidate who will!

  16. Republican officials damn well better support our recall efforts…or we will recall them next….they are supposed to be our voice…if they don’t support the republican majority, they need to find another job !!
